You acknowledge, confirm, accept and agree that when you submit personal data and/or non-personal information of whatever nature and/or content to GENIMAR voluntarily, you agree with the terms of use of this website and this Privacy Policy. You are hereby advised and agree that we may collect personal data including, without limitation, your name, mailing address, email address, phone number(s), date of birth, contact preferences and other information only when voluntarily provided by you. This website is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data about any person under the age of 18.
GENIMAR may from time to time post on this website open vacancies or you may have applied for a future vacancy even if there is no available vacancy at the time of your application. Applicants may send their Curriculum Vitae (“CV”) but before doing so: “Please read the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use carefully before applying for a future vacancy at Genimar Shipping & Trading S.A. By sending your CV, Cover Letter, job application and any supporting documents at crew@genimar.com and/or hr@genimar.com of Genimar Shipping & Trading S.A.: (a) you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, and consent to the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal data by us for the purposes contained in the Privacy Policy; and (b) in the event that we have received your job application or personal data from any third party, you warrant that such third party has been duly authorized by you to disclose your personal data to us for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any of the terms contained in this Privacy Policy please do send us your CV, Cover Letter, job application or any supporting documents.”. Your data may also be used and processed for the purpose of considering an application for a vacancy. Without these data GENIMAR may not be able to contact you or (if required) enter into a contractual relationship with you. This includes both business and employment contracts. In cases where, GENIMAR may acknowledge receipt, respond, or accept an email or application which includes a CV, Cover Letter does not in any way constitute an offer of employment. GENIMAR exercises reasonable efforts to maintain the confidentiality of each email or application which includes a CV, Cover Letter in accordance with the applicable laws and legislation. 
In case you have sent us you CV, Cover Letter and any other supporting documents for a vacancy and/or a future vacancy, you consent for the same to be stored by us until the earlier of, (a) your written withdrawal of such consent in writing, or (b) the end of a two years period since receipt of such CV, Cover Letter and any other supporting documents. You may withdraw consent and request us to stop using and/or disclosing your personal data for any or all of the purposes of future vacancy by sending your request in writing at dpo@genimar.com. Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require reasonable time (usually not longer than thirty (30) days from receipt of your request) for your request to be processed and for us to notify you accordingly. 
GENIMAR may process the information contained in your job application, CV, Cover Letter and your email addressed to crew@genimar.com and/or hr@genimar.com, including, without limitation, your: (a) name, gender, identity card number or passport number, date of birth, nationality, country and city of birth; (b) mailing address, email address, telephone number(s), and any other contact details; (c) resume, academic and professional qualifications and experience, certifications and employment and training history and references; and (f) pictures and/or photographs. Your personal data that may be collected by GENIMAR are stored and (if required) processed in the European Union and/or in any other country as necessary. Should GENIMAR need to transfer your personal data, GENIMAR will take the necessary measures to ensure that the transfer of your personal data is conducted securely and in compliance with the requirements of GDPR. Your information will be disclosed only to appropriate GENIMAR’s personnel involved in the recruitment process.
